Massachusetts Early Childhood Councils were formed as part of the Public School Improvement Act of 1985 to address the needs of young children and their families.
In Holliston, this community partnership has provided scholarship support for preschool age children from working families, literacy enrichment and partnering skills workshops, community playgroups, college level courses for early childhood professionals, and support for child care and education sites as they become NAEYC Accredited or acquire CDA credential.
Funding for these projects comes from a Massachusetts Department of Education Community Partnerships for Children Grant. |
